BUYER BEWARE ! The guy is basically a fraud: Wanting to redo my driveway I contacted Mitch at Pierce Materials for the job. Wanting to use shale as I have done in the past successfully Mitch said it was unavailable locally and gave two options instead, crushed limerock or crushed concrete. He stated that crushed limerock was very similar shale and would drain and firm up so I opted for it counting on his experience with aggregate materials. What was delivered and applied instead was a lime "clay" with hardly any rock (he probably got free as throw away dirt from some job) which made my drive a clammy muddy mess unusable after a slightest rain. When I mentioned it to him he replied they would return and do right by me. I waited in vain several times after he canceled at the last minute each time. Basically unloaded on me some material unsuitable for the job and hauled ass for a quick buck. Now hiring other person to fix my eyesore left by Pierce Materials. I wonder where the good reviews come from, his own people or friends?.I hate being ripped off and this character did just that.,
